Anniversary Eternity
Your anniversary is a milestone and having a portrait taken is a great way to not only celebrate but also capture the moment in time. If you were to walk past various portrait studios in Minneapolis you will surely see lots of portraits of couples. Some of the couples may be celebrating 10, 15, 25, 50 or 60 years of marriage. No matter how many years of marriage you are at, having a photo taken at a portrait studio is a great way to celebrate. “There are two ways to cherish a moment. One is to enjoy it before it passes. The other is to capture it in a portrait and look back on it when it is gone.” You could very well have several things planned to cherish the moment. A weekend away, a cruise, or a special dinner out are all great ways to celebrate the moment; but a portrait captures the moment in time. There are several reasons why you should consider an anniversary portrait.
First off, it captures your love in a photo. Think how you feel when you look back at your wedding pictures. It’s most likely you feel like you’re traveling back in time. All of a sudden you feel 24 years old and all the emotions you felt at your wedding return. The love and excitement and passion you felt for your spouse return. Well the same thing happens with your anniversary portrait. Your love for your spouse is so much stronger because of all the things you’ve gone through together. Even though he may have less hair and she may have more wrinkles, the sparkle in his eye and the love in her smile are very evident. “A portraits real value lies in the memories and emotions it awakens, not in the fact that a particular photographer took it.”
It’s fun to look at years later. Think of the couple who’s been married for 60 years. Very likely they have lots of family portraits through out their home. Most likely they had an anniversary portrait at 50 years, maybe one at 40 years, maybe one at 25 years. Each photo has its own story to tell.
An anniversary portrait will definitely be treasured by family. Your children and children will affectionately display your picture. But even more than that, it’s something that will bring back this moment in time for years and generations to come.
After reading this you may see that going to a portrait studio to celebrate studio is not crazy at all. Rather, a portrait celebrates the moment at hand, is a joy to look at years from now and is a treasure for your family.

I got a ring for my girlfiend from the jewellers but i need some help! (LONG STORY BUT HELP PLZ)?
Right my girlfriend and I have been going out for 2 years now and we’ve been a little patchy as of late and it was our anniversary last week and i have just got back from scotland. Before i went i told her i got her a present and i’ll give it to her once i get back. Now i got her this ring that is called an “eternity ring” now i was speaking with my mum about it and she was saying that they are for after you get married and so on but you can really give them whenever like a commitment ring or something. The problem is im not sure wether i should use the ring as an engagement ring or an eternity ring as it looks like an engagement ring (18crt white gold ring with 1/4 carat diamonds in a line.) I really love her and id like to get engaged but am caught in 2 minds sor of.
Some words of advice would be appreciated and sorry for the long story.

i want to give her the ring im just not sure what way i should give it to her like engagement or commitment wise.
First, an eternity ring has diamonds that go all the way around the band (never ending-eternity). Doesn’t sound like yours is an eternity band. Second, you can give her whatever you want! It’s just a band with a few small diamonds in it, tell her it’s a promise ring. A ring is only called whatever you want it to be called. If you want THAT ring to be her ‘engagement’ ring, then tell her it’s her engagement ring. Not to mention, if you’re not sure what to call it when you give it to her, then DON’T call it an engagement ring, you need to leave it as a commitment ring. When you’re ready to be engaged and get married, you will know and have no doubts why you’re buying the ring.
