Would you accept a ring that has the bridal band and engagement ring together?
My fiance’ gave me this 1 carrot diamond ring, but it has the bridal and engagement ring all together. It is all one big ring. You can see the actual lines where the two separate, but it is just one big ring. If this were you would you accept it?
of course i would accept it! I would just tell your boyfriend that you really love it, but would like to wear the engagement ring by itself since you aren’t married yet, and ask if you can have the two rings separated. i’m sure any jeweler could do it. just remind him of how much you love the ring (so he doesn’t feel bad) but you want to enjoy the engagement and wear the diamond ring by itself, and wear the wedding band when you’re actually married.
