What’s the difference between brushed and polished titanium bands?

Brushed is also know as matte or satin; polished is shiny. All metals will scratch, titanium a little less than other metals. Over time, with normal wear and tear, polished will get a little more matte and brushed will get a little smoother. Brushed/matte will show the scratches less than the polished. Either finish can be re-done.
