with prongs, the stone is more exposed to light and might glitter more, but you are more likely to get caught when you wear something woolen or knitted. With bezel setting, the stone is a lot better protected, they usually look a bit larger, but you don’t have that much exposure to light.
I would prefer the bezel or half bezel if it’s for every day.
