Carat Round
I have a beautiful 1.88 carat round diamond set in a 4 prong platinum setting! My question is….?
I want to lower the diamond into the setting…it sits too high for my taste. Do I have to buy a whole new setting, or can they just sort of chop the prongs down and reset it?!
They should be able to just shorten the prongs. The best way though is to just take it to your jeweler and have them take a look at it, that’s really the only way. Cause calling them over the phone won’t help as much cause it’s better if they have a visual.
