they look the same to me but the last one that did everybody thought was totally different so i thought i’d check this one
the kay one looks much darker in person
he wants the design to be barely visible – he likes it very simple
i’ve already gone through sales with them – that ring never goes on sale
They are similar but not the same. The Ebay one has more of a gap between each “link” design. The Kay one is nicely engraved and looks more like “fine jewelry” whereas the Ebay one looks like a fashion ring from Hot Topic. Of course the first one is much more money. I’d go with the Kay one if you can afford it. I don’t trust Ebay for jewelry and things like that. But, it depends on what your budget is.
Since your wedding isn’t for a year, I would suggest keeping at eye on sales at Kay (they have a couple big sales during the course of the year) and pounce on it when it goes on sale!
We bought our wedding bands during the holiday season (different jeweler). They had half off. His ring was originally $1200, but I got it for $600.
