need help with making a realistic US WWII uniform?
What would a lieutenants combat uniform look like in the european theater. If you need more specific, lets say the invasion of france. Im hoping i can find an olive drab jacket from like a used clothing store and have my girlfriend sew together some insignia, but what kind of insignia would a lt. have? what would be on his arm instead of chevrons, i dont remember ever seeing the one bar on the arm in movies and footage
I also have a replica m1 helmet (plain, no insignia) and it has green mesh and a green elastic band with fluorescent squares on the back, is that realistic? would a lieutenant always have the silver bar on their helmet?
