Classic Diamond ring dilemma?
One of my really close friends got engaged the day after I went ring shopping with my bf. We decided on the style, it would be a round solitaire, simple and just perfect. It turns out my friend recieved pretty much the same exact style ring.
Would it be tacky if my bf got me the classic solitaire, the one I would love to have? Or should I try on different styles? So confused.

No, that would not be tacky. A simple, round engagement ring is very classic. It won’t even look like you’re copying your friend because your boyfriend is technically the one picking it out. It’s a ring you’ll wear your entire life. Don’t compromise what you want because you’re afraid of having something similar to a friend.
