Crucifix Necklace
When we think about the many images of Jesus, the first one to come to mind is the crucifix. Seeing Jesus on the cross is such a powerful image. It seems that a more appropriate symbol should be the stone rolled away from the grave. After all, there are two miracles to consider when thinking of pictures of Jesus. One is when he bore each of our sins on the cross; the other is when he was raised from the dead, defeating the grave and its power over, not only his earthly life, but ours as well.
Images of Jesus elicit emotional responses from both believers and non-believers. Since history validates the life of Christ in many writings other than the Bible, it is not disputed that Jesus lived on earth. The dispute is whether or not he is truly the Son of God – God in the flesh.
But there is no doubt that “The last Supper” by Leonardo di Vinci is one of the most well-known of all pictures of Jesus. Though we only have a description of the night that he shared this meal with his disciples, there were certain ways that these meals occurred during Christ’s lifetime. Sharing the bread and wine was a normal everyday thing in His day – almost like what we would experience in a fondue, sharing the food as one. Everything happened around the family table, so-to-speak.
There is no doubt that the images of Jesus we hold dear are mostly in our hearts. They are personal and carry the emotional baggage with which we have come to grips in our lifetimes. Though we rely on artists renderings, how we see Jesus is an intangible, abstract image burned into our souls.
It is my hope that when you search for images of Jesus that you see him in your mirror’s reflection.

I’m assuming you mean ‘crucifix’ as in a ‘crucifix necklace’? If not – a crucifix is anything of Jesus Christ on the cross, and a cross necklace is a necklace with this on it
