Is this a rare item? Anyone know of an alcoholic drink with a snake preserved in it?
I have a bottle of some sort of liquor that I cant identify because it seems to be from some country in Asia based on the label. I’m not sure exactly what it is. But the thing that makes it different is that it has a real diamond back snake coiled in the bottle. Its a legitimate drink, but it looks nasty. Does anyone know of a drink where snakes are preserved in the bottle? It’s really weird. Like i said, it looks like it is from Asia or something.
Any help solving this mystery would be great. Thanks.
It is actually pretty common in Asia. I’ve heard it called different things but mostly just “Snake Wine”. It is supposed to have medicinal properties depending on what kind of snake is in the wine. It is supposed to be pretty potent so you drink shots of it rather than a whole glass like regular wine. Just google Snake Wine and you’ll get alot of results.
