Please help; I have a lot of jewelry and it’s just thrown in boxes right now. I’d like it to go on display though, so I’ll have an easier time picking out which pieces to wear. When they’re all thrown in boxes like this, it’s inconvenient to dig through 8 boxes just to find one piece of jewelry.
cover a board (MDF) of the size that suits the wall on which you will be hanging it with one inch latex – available from an Upholsterers. Then cover that with velvet of your choice and then arrange and pin your jewellry to it. The advantage of this is it does not disfigure your wall and you can change your arrangement as the mood takes you with no cost. In haberdashers you can find pins with pretty coloured heads – mine look like tiny seed pearls – which enhances the whole thing and by the way do not be tempted to use foam – it isn’t dense enough and the jewellry will fall out.
