Girl Wedding
We tend to plan our weddings in advance – well in advance. We want everything that we can’t afford. When you are planning your own wedding you are the most happy person. Planning a wedding is not just as simple as accepting arranged marriages. What happens is the wedding planner asks the client what services they want, how much the budget, venue, guest list, food choices and venue decor will come to, and importantly asks for the fees in advance. The planner knows that the wedding will go over budget and that he may struggle to get his fees afterwards. A wedding is about a license to drill, certificate to thrill and loneliness to kill.
I am a wedding planner. This is a new role for me. I play it as a centre piece to my table and like to have my job all around me. I am not interested in just my fees. I am interested in the couples. Being of an Indian origin, I have seen arranged marriages and I have seen forced marriages. I have seen marriages for land, for business profit and financial gain. I have seen marriages for the continuity of family relationships, and I have seen many other marriages in my life, including my own, my children’s and I will soon see my grandchildren’s wedding too, I hope.
I will share some of my life experience with you now. About my wedding: I planned my wedding when I was 10 years old. My brides name is Salma. We were living in a small town in India, Gujarat. I am fifty today, and Salma is 47 years of age. We played together and we schooled together, and we lived together. We have seen many ups and downs in life.
I have a friend, a childhood friend, who was in our group. I attended his wedding long ago. He was not happy on his wedding day. He was not looking forward to and never dreamed of his wedding. It was an arranged marriage, he said. He cannot believe that he could not have his dream girl in his wedding guest list, or that he could have any part in his families decision.
The wedding day is not always the best day of your life. It is not just about the best food, expensive decor, limo cars, fresh flowers and fancy venues. It is about your happiness. Are you happy? To marry someone you don’t know, you don’t love, or don’t like is difficult. It is your wedding day, and you should be the person to make the decisions about who should be your bride. If you are looking for a change, then start from bride or groom. If you are not happy thinking about this special day, then change that first. Then you can think of the decor, caterer, flowers and the rest.

Songs that relate to the man leaving the girl on wedding?
I can’t think of a song that relates to the Fiance(Groom) not attending his wedding because hes in love with another girl. Please help!!!!
Why do you want that kind of song?
I mean honestly it’s not a popular idea for songs (and really even for movies though Ben Affleck doesn’t seem to know that) b/c if a man is in love with another girl, he should have the balls to tell her. And at the very least, care mildly enough for the woman he proposed to to not vote for complete and utter humiliation and the biggest expense of her life.
I mean he did propose to her. Most people care enough for total strangers not to want to place that kind of misery on them. So why would you do it to someone you claimed to have loved?
Instead stand her up at the alter, in front of every single person she knows–while they all wait in pity for a groom who isn’t going to show. And then watch her pay the bills for a caterer, a dj she doesn’t use, a cake she didn’t cut, a minister she didn’t need, and a photographer who didn’t take pictures. This is why–in the us–if a groom does that he is responsible for the bills for the wedding.
