How can i remove java (TM) Platform,standared edition icon from the tray?
From few days i am watching this icon in tray (near volume and time icon)..what does it mean..how can i remove this icon without harming java software..if i right click on this icon it shows”
about java technology
go to java.com
open control panel
open console
hide icon (when i hide it come again after sometime)

I can help.
Right-click on your Start Menu button.
Click Properties.
Click on the Taskbar tab.
On the bottom right, there is a Customize button.
Click on the Java listing.
In the Drop-down menu (Hide when inactive), click Always Hide.
Click OK.
Then in the Taskbar and Start Ment Properties, click Apply or OK.
