What colours go well with pink gerbera’s in a bridal bouquet/flower arrangement?
i am stuck, know absolutely nothing about flowers! They have to go with dark turquoise dresses too! I was thinking ivory and hot pink flowers would be nice…
Don’t know about hot pink, with turquoise. I like stargazer lillies, they are cream with a tiny dot of burgandy in center, extending out to mauve and then light pink. Would stay in the pink family. Pink roses, cream roses, mauve carnations or mini carnations, carnations used to be thought of as the cheap flower, but I worked in a florist for a year and the colors of carnations now are totally unbelievable. Alstromeria in mauves, pinks is a good filler, very dainty and pretty,pink and ivory hydrangeas, go to florist and look, they will be glad to let you look at books and a good one will let you look in her cooler. However, do not let florist talk you into a lots of high priced flowers you do not need, make a list and get her suggestions on different combinations and tell her what you like and don’t like and you should be able to come up with something you like and can afford. Pink peonies, usually in bouquets a contrast color is added like in pinks a little yellow or lime green button carnations. I personally like the mauve, pink, cream combo. But look at some of the newer pictures and this will give you an idea. Go to yahoo and look up wedding flowers. Looking if free. Usually stick to three colors in an arrangement or bouquet. However, centerpieces can have more flowers with a few different colors added in, you need some contrast. Also a small amount of blue delphinium can be added in or some wax flower, very small and dainty. Definetly not peach. Good luck. JL
