How to I match a wedding band with my antic wedding ring?
My engagement ring is an antic and the idea is to have a wedding ring as well. Do I wear my engagement ring only on special occasions and then my wedding band all the time? Or should I get something fitted? I am worried about it ruining the flawless unique design. Plus we were planning on having matching wedding bands.
My ring was custom-made and it didn’t cost any more than a regular one would have. Take your ring to a good jeweler (not a chain store) and have him make you something. You may need to get different ring from each other, though, depending on what he comes up with.
I asked my jeweler about matching rings, and he said very few couples do that anymore. So, it wouldn’t be odd to have different rings.
