What do you think of my story plot line?
It centers in on a girl sorcerer, Elvina, who befriends a werewolf, Evan, an angel, Gabriel, two vampires, Henric and Dmitri, and a dhampir, Sterling while attending a magical school (think Harry Potter). They must all team up when they discover that someone wants Elvina’s beautiful, Irish sorcerer room mate, Kimmi, dead.
It’s not really my type of book, but I think that you’d definitely have an audience for it. It almost seems like it would be geared towards the younger age group (10-14) but I suppose that depends on how you write it.
I’d be careful with the names though: Elvina and Evan are kind of similar, and readers sometimes have problems with that. Though it’s not a huge issue, you want to make the book as easy as possible to read, so the more different the names, the better. I like your other name choices though, they’re very descriptive of who the characters are.
One thing that made me a bit leery was when you said: think Harry Potter. You really don’t want to be describing your book as anything that’s been used before, especially when pitching to an agent or publisher. If you’re able to make this idea your own though, add something new to it, you should be fine 
Yeah, other than that, sounds great. This really wasn’t much of a plot line to go off of, more like an idea of a plot line, but as long as you write it well, I think this could be a really good book
