Why has God set/put eternity into the hearts of men?

He has made everything beautiful in its own time; also He has put eternity in their heart, yet so that man does not find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.
As a result of doing this, do you believe men are seeking God in some way, even if he does not know it fully?
Dear Sister,
Perhaps it is because that is who HE IS….the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,
He is the Everlasting Father……the God of Eternity…..The High and lofty ONE who inhabits Eternity….He is greatly to be revered for His Judgments are Eternal, for His Perspective is Eternal, and what He is building in our hearts is to last beyond a lifetime….into Eternity…
8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 But he that lacks these things is blind, and cannot see afar off (( Not seeing with eternal perspective)), and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
11 For so an ENTRANCE shall be ministered unto you abundantly INTO THE EVERLASTING KINGDOM of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
12 Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.
(( I love the reminders that the Apostle Peter gives to us of this…..so potent and rich, preparing us to ENTER the EVERLASTING KINGDOM ! ))
And the beautiful thing is that SINCE it is Everlasting and Eternal, one doesn’t have to wait until they die physically to enter…..since Christ already DIED for US, and by faith we access His Ressurection life now and become seated with Him in the heavenly places….very humbling I assure you : )
