Ring broken after 4months of buying…?
I bought a ring 18ct white gold diamond solitaire from Argos in July, I only started to wear it last week & noticed yesterday that a prong had snapped off. I’m going to argos today with the ring & receipt but wondered what to expect, refund? repair? (they cant replace as its discontinued) will they charge for repair?
back of receipt says most things are guaranteed for 12months, but I’m wondering if they’re gonna try & say I broke it & that I didnt take out insurance so tough? Surely a ring of this quality should last longer than a week!! (altho bought in July)
I don’t know about repairs etc, but if it’s faulty they’re legally obliged to offer you a full refund since you have the receipt.
