Emerald cut diamond engagement rings are a type of step cut, one where the facets actually look like “steps” carved into the gem. Can round steak substitute flank steak in rolled flank steak recipes ? Any other better cut for this recipe ?
I’m trying to make rolled flank steak, but could not find any flank steak, only thin-cut round steak, can that substitute flank steak ? I heard round and flank steaks are both tough cut, is there a better cut for this recipe ?

I have often used a thin cut round steak for rolling it with a filling. I love a combination of mushrooms, onions and carrots. Sometimes I top it with a marinara sauce. It won’t be tough if you simmer it for awhile on top of the stove or in the oven.
