Not just Hispanic Comedians but actual showcases in Spanish. Has Univision or Mun2 ever air something like that or anyone else? I want to find comedians that have performed in Spanish but are from the U.S.
I don’t think stand-up comedy can be translated well into Spanish. I watched some shows of Chris Rock, Seinfeld, Carlos Mencia, just subtitled, not dubbed, into Spanish. But the comic effect was completely lost.
BTW, it seems like most Spanish people don’t like that kind of comedy. That’s why Seinfeld didn’t do good in Spanish television.
