Tension ring questions? How safe are they?
I’m getting ready to find the ring of my dreams.. I have always wanted a tension ring. I love to see the whole diamond. however i’m so scared it will fall out.
I work in an office but love the outdoors in summer hikes backpacking camping all that good stuff! I don’t think i’m too hard on my hands yet i clean and stuff to there for I dont want to get the ring and it fall out with in a few years!

My fiance has a tension set sapphire engagement ring. They really keep that stuff very tight (that’s why they can only use really hard stones like diamond and sapphires), so I wouldn’t worry about it coming loose. When I gave the ring to my fiance, he wanted to see if he could open it (I don’t know why…it’d ruin an expensive ring), but he couldn’t, and he’s decently strong.
I’d say go for it. They are beautiful pieces
