What’s the easiest and practical way to color a white rose green?
My best friend is the sweetest girl in the world, and I wanna make her smile by giving her roses with her favorite color, green, atleast every month. Hehe. I’ve already tried putting green food color on the water of the rose but it’s taking soo much time that the rose is starting to bloom. I wanted to give it to her while it’s still closed.
Did you try to cut the bottom of the stem off about a inch up diagonally? This will make the abortion process quicker. You will still need to use food coloring though. The more dye, the better it will turn out. To really keep the illusion going change out the green water to normal clear water. Be sure to change the water every 24-48 hours to keep it as healthy as possible!
P.S.
A trick to keep the roses alive longer is to drop one pill of aspirin into the water. (let it dissolve then put the rose in)
