If you have a long, narrow face, wear the hat straight across. If you have a square or roundish face, wear the hat at an angle. Try on the hat in front of a mirror to see if it looks better slightly back or a little forward. Generally, hats with generous bows or flowers near the front look better worn slightly forward and hats with little decoration or with a bow or flower at the center back looks nicer worn a little to the rear.
